Flask Hill Advisory is the first professional services consultancy of its kind. Dedicated to helping a firm and its most senior people when it’s time for them to navigate the end of a long, successful, corporate career. It is a familiar but difficult scenario. The firm must plan for the future. The individual isn’t ready or equipped to move on. This is where we come in. Helping the firm and the individual find the solution that works for both.
For the firm this means taking care of your people even when they no longer work for you. (Think of this kind of ‘post-career’ help as just another of the benefits that the best firms to work for provide.)
For the leaver it’s realising there’s another working life waiting for you, on your terms, using the Flask Hill platform with its IT, accounting and admin support.
We call it ‘success planning’, and we know how to do it because we’ve already done it for ourselves. Our three founding partners have spent their careers in professional services. They understand how careers evolve and, when they do, how to make the move from being part of a significant organisation to flourishing as an individual.
We start by reassuring leavers that their fear of being cast adrift is misplaced. Quite the opposite. We focus on how well-equipped they are for a ‘post-career career’. How the skills they have acquired over time – leadership, connectedness and, most of all, judgement – are as transferable as they are valuable.
In fact, in an increasingly virtual, AI world, it is this actual, real world accumulation of judgement which leavers have – and machines cannot replicate – that opens doors to projects, consultancies, directorships and non-execships; offering a new and rewarding working life, where they have control and remain valued.

Leaving
Leaving is about working with our coaches and mentors so that the leaver is in the right headspace for such a major life change. They are not daunted by the next stage of their career but rather they are excited by the opportunity. Then we work with both the leaver and the firm to ensure a smooth and harmonious exit for all parties.
Setting up
Setting up is about making sure the leaver is ready for working life without the big firm back-up they have always relied on. This is what the Flask Hill platform provides: a complete suite of backend services (IT, accounting, administrative) to help each new leaver thrive on their own.
Connecting
Connecting is about welcoming each leaver into a new and continually expanding network. They are no longer leavers and ex-partners but Flask Hill Advisors, who can share and gain from a unique and collegiate pooling of contacts, relationships and opportunities with like-minded professionals with whom they can collaborate. They may be going out on their own, but they are anything but on their own.
